Why this page exists
Health content should say who wrote it. These guides describe what blood markers mean and what changes them, which is the kind of writing that deserves a name attached rather than an anonymous brand voice.
A note on what this is not. I am not a medical practitioner, and nothing published here is medical advice. The guides explain what a panel measures and what the published literature and reference ranges say about it. Decisions about your own health belong with you and a qualified practitioner who can see your full picture.
How these guides are written
Every reference range on this site is taken from the same source the lab report uses, so a guide can never disagree with the number a reader is holding. Where a marker can be measured in more than one way, the guide states which one the kit uses, because the ranges differ.
Dosing figures and mechanisms are attributed where a named source exists, such as EFSA intake figures or a specific published analysis. Where the evidence is mixed, the guides say so instead of picking a side.
